Oh, I agree. Clearly the atheist movement doesn't even come close to the fundamentalist groups of different religions. The billboard comparison was a bit tongue-in-cheek on my part. But atheism does engage in a battle for our hearts and minds, does it not? There is a certain level of evangelism involved in atheism today. Billboards on buses are quite the way to get the word out.

This is not a critique, nor is it a rant from a believer. I just find it ironic that atheists are taking to the streets to spread the good word.

BTW, A.C Grayling (noted atheist and supporter of the billboards) wrote a fantastic book on philosophical logic. It's worth checking out.

"But how is this any different from the hyper-intense Jesus billboards you see in different parts of the country?"

Well...it doesn't say "There's probably no god. But if you disagree, our buddy Richard here will take you down to his basement and torture you for a good long time." So that's a big difference.

Hi there,

I poked around a little to see if I could find anything resembling the Sesame Street clips you described, but I couldn't find much. I suggest you try doing some searches on YouTube; maybe you can come up with something better than I did. Someone is likely to post them at some point, what with the overwhelming nostalgia that hits folks in their late 20's and early 30's. Best of luck!

Hi 'Jujyfruit' Jungle (is that your web name?) I was just wondering if you would please mind to let me know the (possible) whereabouts of two additional Sesame Street videos online. One, being an 'ancient' one (not unlike my other fav, being that delightful crayon one that you posted. The first one that comes to my mind is a video they showed around that era of Autumn or the four seasons, and one of the lines mentioned pumpkin pie. I know this is not the Four Seasons song that was sung by the muppets. The second one that I am thinking of was a video of a Mom making chocolate chip cookies that were not flat but cakey looking. (Thereon I have sometimes tried to replicate them)

Thanks, and cheers,
